EVENT OVERVIEW

Grand Brewfest takes place at Grand View Lodge each November. This fun filled weekend started in 2010 when the rise in craft beer was gaining momentum. The event is Grand View’s craft beer and culinary weekend to pay homage all of our state’s finest breweries.

The weekend kicks off Friday evening with our on-site Pub crawl. Hop on our shuttle and tour three of our bars; Northwoods Pub, Freddy’s Grill and Cru. Each location will be have a different theme, live music, correlating beer and a full bar. Travel through different cultures with music and beer before the Saturday activities kick off.

Saturday’s activities include everything from a one-mile beer run/walk to start the day to meeting the brewery masterminds. In the afternoon we have demos and classes to engage in. You can attend the classes of your choice, ask the brew masters questions and learn everything you need to know about craft beer. And of course, the night cap, the Grand Tasting. This tasting encompasses all shades of MN brews available for sampling plus includes different flavors to sample by Grand View’s culinary team. It is the perfect weekend to warm up before the winter!
